Corpus Christi Parish prepares students to receive the Sacraments of First Reconciliation, First Communion and Confirmation during their Faith Formation classes and homeschool instruction.
Though most Catholic Schools prepare their students to receive Sacraments, they will request students receive their Sacraments at their home parish.

In the Diocese of Pittsburgh, it is required that students receive two consecutive years of instruction from an established Faith Formation program or a Catholic School before receiving a sacrament.
First Reconciliation and First Communion are received in the spring of 2^nd grade. To be eligible to receive these Sacraments, students must:

• Attend an established Faith Formation program or a Catholic School for two consecutive years (usually grade 1 and grade 2)
• Complete the Sacrament Request registration (Catholic School Families only)
• Submit a baptismal certificate
• Attend any additional sacramental prep classes or retreats offered by Parish

• Attend an established Faith Formation program or a Catholic School for two consecutive years (grade 7 and grade 8)
• Complete the Sacrament Request registration (Catholic School Families only)
• Have excellent class attendance or submit homeschool work on time
• Submit a baptismal certificate
• Submit the Confirmation Information Form
• Chose Confirmation Name and write a report about it
• Choose a Sponsor and obtain a Sponsor verification form
• Complete 8 hours of Community or Parish service and complete questionnaire
• Write a Letter of Intention
• Attend a Confirmation retreat
