To live the vocation of husband and wife is beautiful, joy-filled and not always easy. Before saying “I do”, the Church wants to help ensure that you are as prepared for this wonderful and at times difficult journey of marriage, as possible. The Pre-Cana weekend is designed precisely for that purpose.
Over two days, our pastor, Fr. Dennis Yurochko and a team of married couples from the parish, will present a variety of topics from red flags in marriage and communication to sexuality and parenting. Each couple speaks from their heart and from their experiences. Time is also given for discussion, prayer and reflection. The schedule is Friday 6:00pm – 9:30pm and includes dinner and snacks. Saturday’s program begins at 8:30am with breakfast and concludes with the presentation of certificates following the 6:00pm Mass. The cost is $75.00 per couple to help cover the cost of materials and meals. You must pre-register.
Please know that you are in our prayers as you plan your wedding and prepare for your marriage.
In His Love,
Chris & Katie Grella
